COMPANY PROFILE
Philip Clifford has been in practice as a sole trader since 1984 with a background in Structural Engineering 1979 - 1984. From 1984 Philip Clifford progressed into Architectural Design as a freelance Architectural Technician, became a member of the Architects & Surveyors Institute and progressively expanded to become Philip Clifford Design Architectural & Engineering Consultants in 1994.
The practice was set up to provide a specialised and combined service of Architectural and Engineering design. With this unique combination of skills, the company began to specialise in Loft Conversion design along with House Extensions, Alterations, Flat Conversions and New Build Dwellings.
The Loft Conversion design has been so successful that the practice has become one of the largest designers of loft conversions in the South West, having designed over 1500 since it was established.
Our vast design expertise in other areas inclusive of House Extensions, Alterations, Flat Conversions and New Build Dwellings is also enhanced by our ability to couple Structural Engineering with Architectural Design enabling the practice to supply the client with a creative and buildable design.
The design team mainly consist of Philip Clifford, two Architectural Technicians, a Chartered Structural Engineer, an RIBA Architect and a Planning Consultant.
